About Mr. Field
Hi and welcome to my class website! This is my third year teaching and I couldn't be more excited to continue teaching at Chilton Middle School! My first two years were amazing and I cannot wait to build on the great momentum that my students brought to my classroom.
I was born and raised right down the road in Rocklin, CA. I graduated from Rocklin High School. From there I went to Sierra Community College in Rocklin where I received three Associate degrees in Administration of Justice. I transferred to CSU, Sacramento where I received my Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. During school I volunteered for the Roseville Police Department where I volunteered in many community service events around Roseville and participated in over 50 ride alongs with patrol officers. When I graduated from CSU Sacramento I went to work for the Roseville City jail as a Correctional Officer. After working in the jail for a few months I decided to go back to school. While working graveyard shifts at the jail I received my Single Subject Teaching Credential from National University in 2015. I also received my Masters of Teaching degree with a concentration in Teacher Leadership in June, 2015.
During the 2017-18 school year I will be teaching 8th grade US History and will be Coordinating the Chilton WEB Program with Mrs. Osterholt. I am also coaching the flag football teams with Mr. Dunn. I am excited to have an amazing school year!
